Dear Debra: |
|
I want to thank you
for your insightful work on my résumé. Being a C
level but an A+ Personality I have accomplished
too much for a two-page résumé. My original résumé,
as you said, was a fire hose of information … by
your handiwork you turned it into an enticing fountain
where I hope opportunity will drink. In addition,
your positive attitude was incredible. If I was
to isolate what your value added, it was your energy
and ability to restart my search with new hope.
I have used my new résumé to pursue opportunities
I might have let pass.
Thank you. |

| Good
morning Debra, |
|
| Just thought I would
write to let you know that my job search has finally
concluded. I will begin a new position on February
17th with an executive search firm in Providence.
I am very excited to get back to work, and look
forward to expanding my career knowledge. |
|
| Thank you for your
wonderful work on my résumé and cover letters, and
for the professional support you provided. With
every submittal, I got responses from prospective
employers and received phone calls for interviews.
I felt confident going into personal interviews
with a professionally prepared résumé because it
was an important aspect of the critical "first impression".
|
|
| I will highly recommend
your services to anyone I know who might be needing
a résumé, cover letter, or professional career advice.
Your personable manner combined with your expertise
was invaluable to me. I will always be grateful
for the extra steps you took to help me get off
to a great start with my job search. |
|
Sincerely,
R. H., Executive Recruiter |

| Debra, |
|
| Thank you so very much
for the professional way in which you created my
résumé. I found your approach to be unique and [you]
delved into the specific elements about my work,
which will provide any firm with the key elements
for why they should hire me. |
|
As an executive with
a Fortune 200 company, I feel that this résumé will
more than explain those areas where I have been
blessed with success during my 18-year career. Your
gift with words was evident throughout the process
and I have learned so very much from you.
Thank you again. |

| Debbi, |
|
| I have enjoyed working
with you on this process. Your work is creative
and unique and it captures the client perfectly.
I look forward to working with you again as things
need to be changed due to new degrees, certificates,
and job experiences. |

| Debbi, |
|
| You’ll never know how
much you’ve helped me. That job I really wanted?
Your résumé and letter got me the interview, and
I landed the job! |
|
| I bought the salary-negotiation
book you recommended; I read it and used tips from
it. I turned down the first offer the company gave
me. It was very difficult; I really wanted that
job! But their offer was not in my best interests.
I told them what I had to have. A week later, I
received a letter of offer with everything I asked.
Of course I accepted! I could not have done it without
your help. |
|
| Later, I was asked
to write a letter for a departing employee. I remembered
your tips and wrote him a fantastic letter that
earned him an interview. There were 200 applicants
for the job, and his résumé had previously been
ignored. With the letter, he caught the attention
of management. Before his interview, I urged him
to read the negotiating book. He did, and the tips
in it enabled him to negotiate the right salary
for himself. |
|
| My initial fears about
paying you [an unknown Internet quantity] to do
my résumé have been pushed away. Now I feel indebted.
Thank you! |

Debbi,
Thanks for all your help - your coaching helped me transform a "boring"
resume into one that gets noticed.
I appreciate the quick turn-around. It allowed me to submit a quality
resume [quickly], keeping it "top-of-mind" for the recruiter.
